Please install Xorg 6.9.0, and the latest 2.6.15.3 kernel with DRM
enabled. This should give you the experimental open-source 3d driver for
your card. The driver name is "radeon". It is known to conflict with all
sorts of framebuffers (i.e., both "vesafb" and "radeonfb").
