After successfully upgrading bash to version 3.1 using the LFS-Devel book instructions, I came upon an issue with the more_control_helpers hint list_package script. Whenever I run the script it spits out an error of
/usr/bin/list_package: line 101: s/m]+m//g: No such file or directory
as it attempts to collect the manpage summaries of the package's executables. A look at a list file produced by the script reveals a perfectly normal output other than the manpage summaries, which consists of a badly formatted version of the entire manpage interspersed with many nonsense characters. No clue what this means aside from the apparently obvious fact that the upgrade to 3.1 "broke" the script.
Thanks in advance
