Oh, I'll make sure to keep everyone posted if I have success. I'll write up a HOWTO. It's so annoying because I feel I'm really close, just can't figure out this one little NVIDIA Driver vs libglx issue. :-/ For those that don't know, it's not only eye-candy Xgl gives. There is some great functionality to it as well. The "alt+tab" but still seeing "active" windows method. Meaning, videos still play as the alt+tab windows scroll past, and even thumbnails of the current Web page you are viewing. Also, the key-combo that can instantly sort all the programs on your desktop in a sort of fly-in / fly-out method. And the overall Cube effect for virtual desktops. Other distros are already enjoying these features, it's about time we BLFSers get them as well. Check out more here: http://www.novell.com/linux/xglrelease/ I'll be working on this over the weekend, and would appreciate any and all help. I'll be on IRC as well, so feel free to drop me a PM.
