What version of CUPS? I'm using the newest one, which has significant differences in the cupsd.conf config file. You may want to use this version, as I'm having no troubles with it and will probably update the book to this version. It doesn't look like LFS is going to release any time soon, (which means BLFS won't either) and this CUPS update should be painless, even if we were going to have a release soon, this CUPS update should probably be included. Anyway, let me know which version you're using and I'll post a working config that prints to Windows printers (if that is what you're trying to do). -- Randy rmlscsi: [bogomips 1003.27] [GNU ld version 2.16.1] [gcc (GCC) 4.0.3] [GNU C Library stable release version 2.3.6] [Linux 2.6.14.3 i686] 13:10:00 up 30 days, 5:10, 1 user, load average: 2.89, 2.12, 1.17 -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-support FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
