Hello, I see in the latest BLFS book glib-2.10.3. I've had some major problems with this version:
firefox-1.5.0.4, kfmclient (filemanagement) in KDE did not start anymore. It has to do with : GSlice , memory errors I had to downgrade to glib-2.8.6, and remove all the installed directories, and relink all symlinks to this version in the /usr/lib directory.
