What is the location of the directory of C header files that match your
running
kernel? [/usr/src/linux/include]
i don't know how to fix this
It's described in the Vmware forums.
Download this file, unpack and run the new vmware-config.pl after
installing vmware. It solved all my troubles :)
http://ftp.cvut.cz/vmware/vmware-any-any-update104.tar.gz
It should then be able to locate your headers in (normally)
/lib/modules/2.6.17.3/some/more/path
