Actually, :0 isn't a terminal like tty1, tty2, etc. It's indicating a graphical login (i.e gdm), where :0 is your local display. Thanks, it shows I was a wake for a while <smile> As tty7 is reserved for GUI, isn't the login done there? Is it always defined as a 0, or would remote logins be something else?
