I am going to be installing f77 based on the information from the blfs wiki on compiling gcc-3.4.6 with c and f77 compilers only. My questions are:
1) Is it possible to only install f77 (--enable-languages=f77) ? When I built BLFS-SVN a year ago, I think there was something that needed f77/g77 and not f95/g95 (I currently have f77 and not f95 on my host, but I can't remember why I went through the trouble before). 2) Can f77 be installed using --prefix=/usr instead of --prefix=/opt/gcc-3.4.6 ? Any help you can provide in clearing this up would be greatly appreciated.
