Sorry, i made a typo - the command in my start-script actually reads:- compiz --replace ccp & emerald --replace & The ccp option tells Compiz to read it's configuration-settings from ccsm, which can include the decorator to use, making the 2nd part redundant. Having said that, emerald may be worth using while setting everything up, as it looks very different from the KDE themes & will avoid potential confusion. I use it all the time simply because i prefer it's appearance. For X-server settings, look at:- http://wiki.compiz-fusion.org/Troubleshooting As an example, i had to explicitly load Xorg's composite extension in spite of Xorg-7.2 supposedly having it built-in. This may be unique to Radeon cards, but illustrates one of the less obvious pitfalls that can crop up. taipan -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-support FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
