Doing a bit more hunting around, I think http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux-2.6.git;a=commitdiff;h=9c501935a3cdcf6b1d35aaee3aa11c7a7051a305 may be related. Changing the linux/socket.h include to sys/socket.h in linux/netlink.h is enough to get strace to compile. I'll send this upstream, and see what they say.
