So, I finally sorted out what was happening if I googled with lynx (thanks to William for the initial report), and also mapped a triangle for google news in sigma-consolefonts-0.7.
But the main purpose of this mail is to announce yet another console font: LatGrkCyr-12x22. This is ultimately derived from the sun 12x22 shipped with the kernel and for me it works on my 1600x1200 screen using kms. Coverage is intended to be Europe West of the Caucasus.
