After rebuilding the xorg chapter § 24 of BLFS step by step in a new partition, we could /not/ reproduce the original problem, neither in the laptops ( thinkpad ) nor in the PC's. We checked xorg-7.6.2 with kernel-3.1 and with kernel-3.3, rebuilding the kernel, and everything was OK. It seems therefore, that we made a mistake during the first building of the BLFS system. We could'nt, however, get the source of the error. Thank you very much to all of you who helped us. Edgar -- Dr.-Ing.
