That's interesting because the comments in the article dated in 2007 specifically mention phonon. Just checked some reference material on phonon and according to that it was started in 2004 under a different name, renamed to phonon in 2006 and introduced into qt in 2008. > But my point is that having been written nearly six years ago, it's more > misleading that useful. Guess it depends on the user and what information they're looking for from it. I found some of the information on what libraries work together helpful. However, I would definitely double-check the source code when building any of these libraries to see if the dependencies have changed.
