Hello,

Have you done:

make install-dbus

from within the blfs-bootscripts-20140301 directory?

This should automatically start d-bus on system boot.

There are also instructions to add :

# Start the D-Bus session daemon
eval `dbus-launch`
export DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS

to your personal start up file.

Regards,

Christopher.
