 I think the _ATA and _SATA options mean that either the kit works,
or it doesn't.  On xine I can make DVD replay work, and I have also
done so in parole.  Full disclosure - with eudev-1.6, whatever
workaround I used to use to get /dev/sr0 usable by normal users, and
with a /dev/dvd symlink, does not work - or perhaps I dropped the
ball and the fix.  At the moment I don't have a eudev-1.7 system,
but anyway I can make xine work if root fixes things up for the
current boot - vlc was already set for /dev/sr0 and worked (for a
second at a time) as a regular user.
