On my netbook, which is currently labouring in a second attempt to build libreoffice (and this time I suppose I'll have to try to debug the problem if it fails :-( ) I have a two-button mouse. Paste fails to work in either Xorg or gpm. For Xorg, I can see that I need to add the Emulate3Buttons option, which I will do after the libreoffice build stops (hopefully, that will be in a day or two).
But for gpm - is it possible to paste when a middle button is not present ? ĸen -- Nanny Ogg usually went to bed early. After all, she was an old lady.
