Using the BLFS for LFS 7.6 to install X Window from source, I've gotten to
the part dealing with the XORG drivers. I am working on the video driver
in particular.

When I do this -

lspci | grep VGA

My output is as follows:

01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] nee ATI
Whistler [AMD Radeon HD 6600M Series]

I can see that I have some kind of Radeon video chipset in my laptop. So,
I want to use the "Xorg ATI Driver-7.3.0" driver on the Xorg Driver page:
http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/~krejzi/blfs-git/x/x7driver.html#xorg-ati-driver

I do not know what firmware might be required per the given link on this
page. Or is there a more generic video driver that I can use just to see
if my X Window compilation was successful? Thanks.
