Adwaita lists no dependencies in the documentation. But if I compile Adwaita prior to compiling librsvg I receive the following:

Can't load file: Unrecognized image file format

   make[3]: *** [install-data-local] Error 1
make[3]: Leaving directory '/sources/adwaita-icon-theme-3.18.0/src/symbolic'
Makefile:317: recipe for target 'install-am' failed
   make[2]: *** [install-am] Error 2
make[2]: Leaving directory '/sources/adwaita-icon-theme-3.18.0/src/symbolic'
Makefile:330: recipe for target 'install-recursive' failed
   make[1]: *** [install-recursive] Error 1
   make[1]: Leaving directory '/sources/adwaita-icon-theme-3.18.0/src'
Makefile:539: recipe for target 'install-recursive' failed
   make: *** [install-recursive] Error 1

The errors may be inconsequential as the programs requiring Adwaita load without error. However, compiling Adwaita after librsvg produces no errors. Does that make sense? Should librsvg be mentioned as a requirement for Adwaita?

I see in the Optional dependencies: "GTK+-2.24.30 <cid:[email protected]> or GTK+-3.20.6 <cid:[email protected]> (if present, librsvg-2.40.16 <cid:[email protected]> is also required, and *gtk-update-icon-cache* and *gtk-encode-symbolic-svg* are run after installing)".
Do you have GTK+ installed?
