I can't say. You need to look at your build log to try to figure out
why it wasn't built.

thank you very much for your hints.
I built all of the dependencies of qt5, but the result was the same: no
linguist installed. However, I found an error during the installation (
make install ) which interrupts the install procedure. I had not notice
this the first time:

This error could be the problem. But, what's wrong ? I did configure as
indicated in the book, no problems in configuration, no problems during
make. I hope you can help - and have no problems with the german wording -
