Hi All, I installed "giflib-5.2.1" by following the instructions in Chapter 10. of the BLFS book. At the end of the installation, I didn't see the 3 executables "gifecho", "gifsponge", and "gifinto" in /usr/bin as described in "Short Descriptions". Then I looked at the Makefile; in "INSTALLABLE", indeed I didn't see the above 3 executables on the list. This probably explains why they are not installed by default. After I added them in "INSTALLABLE" of the Makefile, reinstall it again, then they are all installed. Please correct me if the above procedure is incorrect. If it's correct, it'd be nice to update the relevant info regarding "giflib" in the book.
