You might want to go into your MS-Word options and see where your back up files are being stored. My guess is however, that this is not going to be helpful. I'm thinking that your auto back up had not yet had a chance to save the most recent work that you had done before the program crashed. While you are in your MS-Word settings, consider reducing the time lapse between back ups. I keep mine at 3 minutes.

I was able to locate the recovery pane by pressing F6 and there were a number of files listed there, however, not the one i was attempting to recover. There was an "edit box" So I typed in the file name I was attempting to recover and it pulled up a number of files of which again none belong to me. I even used the jaws curser and read the page from top to bottom and still no luck. I guess this undertaking requires sight, but I thank every one for their help. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Steve & Shannon" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <blind-computing@jaws-users.com> Sent: Saturday, June 16, 2007 9:53 AM Subject: Re: [Blind-Computing] reviewing documents recovery task panes > Press F6 and this will take you over to the document recovery pane. > > > Steve & Shannon > Today I married my best friend. > The one that I laugh with, live for, love. > October 11, 2003 > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of lawrence taylor > Sent: Saturday, June 16, 2007 3:23 AM > To: blind-computing@jaws-users.com > Subject: [Blind-Computing] reviewing documents recovery task panes > > Good morning listers > > I was working in ms word 2003 and lost jaws thus had to do a hard reboot. > Upon rebooting and bringing ms word 2003 back up I learn I'd lost the > paragraph or so I'd been working on.
