I've been playing with SATOGO for a month or so and have been very favorably impressed. I've actually come across a couple situations where I couldn't save settings in an Excel worksheet in JAWS but was able to read the thing with SATOGO. There was a bug for a while where the voice would change back to the default unexpectedly, but apparently that's been addressed.
I think this is a tremendously significant development in terms of providing access for visually impaired people to information. The thing even works very well with PDF files, so it'll be a natural for libraries, government offices etc. who are required to provide documents in a readable format for blind people. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Ricque Sent: Saturday, July 21, 2007 1:16 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Blind-Computing] Feed Back Anyone? Hi Miss Cathy, Yes, I gave it a go. It's not bad,and it's not Jaws or Window Eyes either. In most cases, as a portable reader, so to speak, it will get the job done. And right now, the price is exactly right! smile HTH, Richard Justice www.blind-computing.com ----- Original Message ----- From: cathy harris To: [email protected] Sent: Saturday, July 21, 2007 1:45 PM Subject: [Blind-Computing] Feed Back Anyone?
