Listers,
I just upgraded to vista ultimate from XP pro.
Now in Vista Home premium, I have in the shut down dialog, both sleep and
hybernation, but in Vista ultimate, only hybernation shows up in the shut
down dialog box.
Now I believe this is wrong. reason being, this copy of vista ultimate is a
reinstalled copy. I was having some problems and HP had me to reinstall the
entire program. But, with the other copy that was on the computer before, I
thought for sure that sleep was an item in the shut down dialog box.
So will those of you that will, check your shut down dialog box and let me
know if there's a sleep item there? If there is a sleep item there, I think
I need to reinstall the OS again.
By the way, even in the power manigement there's a sleep area but only
hybernation is there, that too, makes me think something went wrong in the
reinstalling.
Thanks to all,
Carliss
