This is something just introduced in October's issue of Smart Computing 
magazine and it sounds pretty cool to me for sure. Although in my case it 
wouldn't eliminate the rat's nest of wires behind my desk it might make a small 
dent in it, but I can't be sure right now. Wireless USB 1.0 offers speeds 
comparable to USB 2.0 wired standards for a distance of 3 meters or around 10 
feet. It can transmit further but then the speed will drop off some what. Still 
depending on what it was you were doing for example an unattended backup job 
that runs over night wouldn't really require maximum speed and 10 feet from the 
source is still a decent range I would figure. Just a little news tip for the 
folks out there is all this is for right now.
