Hello everyone,
I have my windows updates set to notify me when updates need downloaded and
installed, but let me choose when to do this. I had IE7 waiting there to be
downloaded and installed. I was reading about windows updates on the jaws
users web site, and it said to have the updates automatically downloaded, but
not installed. I made that change, and my IE7 got downloaded. I went to my
system tray to look for something that should of said updates are ready to be
installed. Now there is nothing in my system tray, and I know that IE7 was
downloaded. Now how can I install IE7 when it is no longer in my system tray?
I know I still have IE6 because I already checked that plus I never got a
chance to install IE7. I am running jaws 9, and windows XP home edition. I
don't really like my windows updates to download, and install automatically, so
what is the best way to have windows updates set up? I would like some
opinions on that please! Any help with this is most appreciated! Happy New
Year to you all!!!
Take care,
Lisa
