Lou As another person posted, you will need a wireless router which goes between your cable modem and one of the computers. Chances are that one desktop unit is sitting next to the cable modem so there is little point to connect this computer wirelessly. Since the other computer is also a desktop it is unlikely that it has a wireless adapter so you will need to buy one for that computer. I use a 3Com PCI wireless adapter for one of my desktops. It is very easy to install and it works flawlessly. The 3Com card costs a bit more than ones from D-Link, LinkSys, or Belkin but it's worth every penny. The desktop sitting next to the router and modem can be connected simply with an Ethernet cable.
