Not sure what causes this one, but, for example, when trying to read a word document using my Jaws 8.0.1177, I normally do it paragraph by paragraph using the Ctrl + Down key combo since if I try to use the read all, it'll sometimes also skip parts of the content, or sometimes simply stop as if it can't scroll down or something.
