Hi Kathy.

I second this post from Bill.  Ram is more important.  Most people never 
fill their harddrives to capacity, and maxing out the ram almost always 
makes a significant difference in the performance of the machine.  Plus, all 
the literature I've read on Vista seems to at least touch on the importance 
of ram.  Hope this helps.
