Not sure exactly what you are wanting to accomplish.
Are you wanting to arrange the files in alphabetical order?
When you say you did some editing, did you change the file name and now they
are out of order?
You can always highlight the file name and press f2 and rename it.
If that's not what you are wanting to do, then how are you wanting to
arrange them?

I have a folder which contains the chapters in a book I have written.
Originally, they were in order from Chapter 01 to Chapter 25.  But I did
some editing and now one or 2 of them are out of order.  Here's my question
group.
Is there a way to move the files around within a folder?  I tried finding
that in the Help and Support section of Windows and in Word but I can't seem
to hit on the method.  

I know I can copy the files into another folder and then re-enter them.
That would certainly work but it would be time and labor intensive.  Is
there a way to do that more expeditiously?
