Hi, Patricia, I looked up this error and found an answer of sorts on the following Web site. I couldn't find a fix, however. Maybe someone else can. I would recommend you back up the messages you want to save, though before attempting anything. Here is what I found, in the event that it helps someone. Erin Erin
http://groups.google.com/group/microsoft.public.outlookexpress.general/browse_thread/thread/9a677ec13715ce24 To avoid such corruption in future: - Don't use Inbox or Sent Items to archive messages. Move them to local folders created for this purpose. - Empty Deleted Items folder daily. - Disable Background Compacting [not available in SP2] and frequently perform a manual compact of all OE folders while "working offline". More at http://www.insideoe.com/files/maintain.htm - WinXP SP2 only: Do not shut down your machine while Windows is automatically compacting your message store. - Your anti-virus application's email scanning feature can also cause such corruption. Disable it. It provides no additional protection. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Patricia Dunbar" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "BPC" <Blind-Computing@jaws-users.com> Sent: Sunday, March 30, 2008 1:14 AM Subject: [Blind-Computing] Outlook Express Problem > Lately last couple of days when I close OE this is what keeps popping up.. > > Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library > Runtime Error!graphic 580 Program: C:\Program Files\Outlook > Express\msimn.exe > R6025 > - pure virtual function call > OK > > What does it mean and what do I need to do if anything? > > Thanks, > > Patricia > > > Visit the JAWS Users List home page at: > http://www.jaws-users.com > Address for the list archives: > http://www.mail-archive.com/blind-computing@jaws-users.com/ > To post to this group, send email to > blind-computing@jaws-users.com > To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > For help from Mailman with your account Put the word help in the subject > or body of a blank message to: > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Use the following form in order to contact the management team > http://www.jaws-users.com/BlindComputing.php > If you wish to join the JAWS Users List send a blank email to the > following address: > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Visit the JAWS Users List home page at: http://www.jaws-users.com Address for the list archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/blind-computing@jaws-users.com/ To post to this group, send email to blind-computing@jaws-users.com To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] For help from Mailman with your account Put the word help in the subject or body of a blank message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Use the following form in order to contact the management team http://www.jaws-users.com/BlindComputing.php If you wish to join the JAWS Users List send a blank email to the following address: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
