There might be a couple things you might want to disable in the add-ons. 
Both of them have to do with Skype.  I know that those two add-ons have been 
very problematic.  Just go to tools and then to manage add-ons and find the 
two Skype-related add-ons and disable both of those.  The dialog's pretty 
straightforward I think, so it shouldn't be a problem.  If those are already 
disabled, then I don't know what might be the problem.  I haven't had too 
many issues with IE 7 as far as that goes, but those add-ons can be a bit 
problematic, especially if you have JAWS and IE not going together well.  I 
can't remember the specifics of why that issue seems to solve one 
particularly annoying problem, but I used to have similar problems and when 
I disabled both of those, it worked just fine.  If you need additional info,
