please go to control pannel click on automatic updates there u will
have four options 1 automatic radio button 2. download my updates but
let me choose when to install 3 notify me about updates but dont
download and install 4. turn off updates. selecting option 2 or 3 will
pop up a window asking for whether to install or not.
