Dear Alex I have changed the subject line You do not have to convert back to html email as Links are clickable in Outlook 2003 plain text emails. You do not have to copy and paste the links either.
I execute links within outlook plain text links all the time. The anomaly is that the link will not work if your cursor is on the http part of the address in the email message. You simply right cursor along until you are anywhere in the main address pass www. And then press enter. This will execute the link even though it is in plain text.
