David,

I'm looking for ones other than those that come with XP. For example, I
think I had downloaded a .wav file that had a male computer voice saying
something like "It was a pleasure serving you, mistress" that I wanted to
use as the sound for when the computer turns off instead of the one that
reminds me of an orchestra in a movie theatre that XP uses. I lost that one
if I did have it. It doesn't have to be that one-just something I like to
help differentiate the Windows turn off sound from the one Open Book 7.02
uses when you exit the program.

I used to have one that I used when I emptied the recycle bin that sounded
like a toilet flushing, but that one got lost in the shuffle.

If the ones you have are anything like those, I'd like to give them a
listen.

Thanks,

Margaret

Margaret, are you looking for a collection of sound files for XP? If so then
I can accommodate you very easily today in fact. Since I am using XP and
have all of the sounds that were included with it, I'll zip them up and send
them on their way after lunch. Just let me know is all.

Life is what happens after you've already made other plans.
