I have always ignored that message, Stue and nothing has happened to the documents I forwarded or copied into an e-mail. I'm not sure what that means and I too am curious. Can someone enlighten us on this situation?

To recap what Stue means, when you paste a document into aan e-mail, you get a warning about Active X controls.

1. What are Active X controls?
2. How do they effect the use of document files in e-mail?
3. What can be done to make the procedure more compatible?

I had office 2000, now have 2003 on the computer. When I was using 2000 and in a word document and would paste it in a e mail things were fine. Since I am now using 2003 when I paste a word document into the email I get a message that my security will not allow active x controls and may not display properly. Do I need to change something and if so where do I do it?
