Hi folks,

I have a CD containing recorded phone calls. I need to
convert these WAV files into MP-3 files in order to make
them more manageable.
I have Windows Media Player 11 and WinAmp 5.541 installed on
an XP-Pro machine with either JFW 8 or 9 both latest
versions.
I can't seem to locate the format conversion utility in
WinAmp and the CD ripper in Media player does not recognize
my source disk. I receive a message to the effect that Media
Player is searching for digital content in the background.
Normally I have an executive assistant who does this however
she is on vacation and now I get to enjoy the experience.
Any assistance you can provide is greatly appreciated.
