Most likely, the program you downloaded isn't compatible with windows
vista.
I got this same message when trying to install an earlier version of the

I have a question regarding vista, and, installing programs.
My wife's computer is running Vista, jaws10,
I went to;
www.downloads.com
found a copy of wordweb.exe, which is suppose to work with XP.
when I try to install the program, I receive the following error.
I should mention, I've tried turning off, "UAC".

A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will
close the program and notify you if a solution is available.
