Hi Listers, I sent an email last week regarding the power options on my computer. I'm using a Dell Latitude D620, with windows XP SP2. What's happening is this. If the computer is turned off for 30 minutes or more, it's going in to sleep mode, (not hibernation, or stand-by, sleep mode.) This is happening both on battery and AC power. In order to turn it back on, I have to press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds. Nothing else will wake it up. It started doing this, after I may have accidentally changed something in the power options section of the control panel. I talked to Dell on Friday, and they are researching it; the guy said that all my settings seem to be all right, and he doesn't know why it keeps going in to sleep mode. Has anyone ever had an experience like this, and does anyone know how to disable the sleep button on a Dell Latitude? Any help would be greatly appreciated. By the way, I'm not turning the machine off; it runs fine when it's turned on.
Thanks Much.
