Hmmm, I wonder why AVG 8 paid version isn't tracking all these spyware
issues?
That is what I didn't understand as to why pay for a function suppose to be
offered in a version but you need another to do the job.
This current version of Winamp that is giving me the error message is
version 5.24 so should I still upgrade or just do as you suggested here
before I resort to the upgrade?
Thanks for the help much appreciated and I knew you would know about the
Winamp as in times past you have had a wealth of knowledge on the subject.

This error means that you have to run a registry cleaner on your system,
as
well as running some spyware scans on it.
Once you do this, the error should go away.
I've gotten this error a few times, and once I did a Google search for the
error, that is what was suggested.
It did work, so try that and let us know.
