If I understand yur question, when you encounter a pdf file, you want to save it where you can find it and then use conversion software to open it.
If you are in internet explorer, hit the right mouse button key on the file name; then jaws will say "save target as"; at tthat point type the file name that you want to use and make sure the file extenstion is pdf.
