Do you want it to say blank, or not?
When I open a document using word 2003, if moving up and down in normal mode
using the cursor keys, it does say blank, but if I use say all, it doesn't
read them.
I normally turn on quick keys using jaws key + Z if I just want to read a
document since this then allows you to use similar navigation keys as IE to
browse the document, but I don't really think this is relevant.
This is with Jaws 10 FWIW.
