Also get Malwarebytes. The free version doesn't offer real-tine protection but for on-demand scans it's fine.

Download Super Antispyware free. Run a scan and that should do it.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] A question about AIM

Hi all,

I'm currently using AIM 6.0 and every time I send an IM, aim.com tries to
connect to the internet and acts as if it's my home page. Now I realize
that this is spyware, but can someone tell me the best way to remedy this
problem.

Unfortunately, I have to use AIM, because the company that I work for uses
this program.

I thank you in advance.

Debbie
