Jaws tandum is a feature in jaws 10. Under jaws, it is in the utilities
menu.

to install a jaws demo would not be the problem so i would not really need
another browser or something. I just want to fix a few things on her pc.
does jaws have demos for their tandem version? does anyone know?
i am running jaws 9 but do have a demo of 10 on here as well, when i tried
out the new version. have no clue if this one is tandem or not.

You could use system access for this. Never done it before so can't
comment but it can be done.

As far as jaws goes, you need JAWS 10. The machine you are working on
also needs jaws 10.
You would be using jaws tandum.
I've never used it personally, nor know about any 3rd party applications
to remote control another PC.
I would be interested to see others views on this.

Hi all,
ok here is my scenario and questions:
I am using xp home and jaws 9 on my pc. I have a friend (sighted) who
also
uses xp, of course no jaws.
So I wanted to help her with some computer issues and thought the
easiest
way, would be to just take control of her pc and fix it.
She is a pc newbie so she said no problem, that she appreciate if I
would
try. Anyway, what do I need to install on her pc to make this work.
Does she
have to have at least a demo version of jaws on there, for me to be
able to
work on her computer, or will my jaws here be sufficient? Would I be
able to
get feedback from my jaws when I work inside her computer?
I know there is other software than windows own remote desktop such as
team
viewer but I am not sure how that would work with a screenreader. Also
how
accesible is remote desktop, to set up and everything?
Thanks in advance for any hints and tips
Regards
chrissy
