I'm passing this along from another list member, although I haven't had a chance to look at it yet, sounds interesting.
Today's Cool Site... >From Kim Komando A search site with a brain Google is hands down the most popular search site. In fact, the name is practically synonymous with Web searches. Of course, Google has a long history of offering innovative services. But here's a news flash: Google isn't the only innovator in search! In fact, a remarkable new search site launched this past week. And it has everybody talking. WolframAlpha isn't going to replace Google. It isn't designed to help you surf the Net. Rather, WolframAlpha is a computational search site. That's just a fancy way of saying that it is designed to help you find answers. For example, you can enter a math problem. WolframAlpha will return the result. Google can do this with simple problems. But try feeding it a complex calculus equation! Solving math problems is only the tip of the iceberg. WolframAlpha is capable of so many more interesting feats. The site is quite fun to explore. You might try entering dates or names. Ask questions about science or the stock market. You'll be amazed at how smart this site is! WolframAlpha is perfect for finding answers to tricky questions. You'll want to bookmark it. That way, you're prepared when your kids ask for help with their trigonometry homework! TO VISIT TODAY'S COOL SITE, GO HERE: www.wolframalpha.com Richard Q.
