Who told you that? Windows update has nothing to do with whatever browser you are using. The only thing there is is that you need to use IE to browse the windows site manually. All you need to do then is just start IE from your program site, regardless of what your default browser is. If you are set to auto update windows OS then you won't even need that. Regards chrissy
