Subject: [Blind-Computing] Windows backup utility and Karen's
Replicaterinquiry

Hi list,
It's AC. I have two questions about the above programs.
1. I can't create a full system backup of my HP Pavilian laptop using the
Windows backup utility. I can do a backup of my documents and settings as
well as choose what folders/files I want to backup with no problem using
my external hard drive. However, when I tried to do a full system backup
it wouldn't create the recovery disk and aborted the backup process.
My external floppy drive is being recognized as well as my external hard
drive. Does this mean there is possibly an issue with the Windows Backup
Utility software? If so, what should I try?
2. I am thinking about doing a full system backup using Karen's
Replicater. Is this possible? I don't see a way to restore your files
mentioned in the help documentation. I haven't read it all the way
through just yet. It seems to be for just backing up specific folders and
files and not a full system backup program. Am I wrong? If so, how could
I do a full system backup using this program?
Thanks in advance.
AC
