No but just for grins and giggles, I might throw Firefox at it and see what comes up. I don't think I've ever tried that with gmail.

No, I have a machine with IE 7, and another with IE 8. Both work fine.
Also using jaws 10 on IE 8, and Jaws 8 on the IE 7...

Have you tried using a different browser to see what happends?
