Hi Dan, I am using Clearwire and it is very accessible. I know nothing about the VOIP service you are talking about.

Clearwire is not in all areas yet, but, you can check in your area. If you want more information, contact me off of list and I will get you all of the information. There website is not very accessible with this older version of Jaws, but, I still like it a lot.

Take care and good luck.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] VOIP question

recently I have been made aware of a VOIP service called ooma.
apparently all you do is buy their interface box and connect it to your internet connection and your phone or phones, and you get free calling any where in the continental Us. free. I have heard various different prices for the equipment ranging from as low as $65 to about $250. Does anyone know anything about this service, and if so, how accessible would the setup be?
the url for their site is
http://www.ooma.com .
Any information would be appreciated. I looked on the site but the information was somewhat inconclusive.
thanks in advance.
