No idea - haven't had a sighted person to check if it's displaying movie pictures etc.

For making something the default software, either in the folder options dialogue on the file types tab you can do it, or else simplest is to just right click on a file of a specific type, go down to open with, hit enter on choose program..., find the software in the list, tab to the always use this program checkbox, make sure it's checked and tab to ok button, and there you go.

Remember that there are various video file formats, like avi, wmv, mpg, etc. etc.

Stay well

Jacob, does the Gom Player display the pictures of movies? I can't get Windows Media Player to do that.

Also I would like gom Player to be the default, but despite someone's instructions for doing that on the list, I still can't accomplish this.

Any suggestions? windows Media Player always takes over.

There is a playlist item on the context menu, but not sure what it displays, or what to do with it.

You can open directories/folders from items on the open submenu, and it does seem to remember what you were listening to previously, but anyway.

I know this program had a thread which was either on this list or another to which I belong.

I only have a few questions. Is there a way, for instance, to make more playlist details show? Also, is there some trick I haven't figured out about saving and retrieving playlists?

Thanks for any help.
