I know we've covered this ground before, so, please forgive me. I'm a new VISTA user, (worst mistake I've made in years), and need to know two things.
1. How to silence UAC. I've disabled it, but keep getting a windows security notice each time I turn on my computer, so, I've reactivated it to get rid of the message. It seems to me there was a program mentioned that would silence or prevent UAC from coming up every time you installed, or made changes. 2. (yes, I know, I'm getting greedy), I have a program that is blocked that I want to start-up. Currently, I have to open the system tray, click on "Blocked Startup programs, then click on the name of this program and give it permission to run.
